A Resting Spot

Suzette shivered at the new warmness that they stepped into. Samuel continued to tug her along gently to the seats that rested in the recreational center. There was many things that would brighten any other person's day, but Suzette though found them very dull. Samuel kept them moving though. He pulled them to a stone bench and sat down. Suzette looked at the seat before placing a hand on it. It was cold. Suzette loosened the jacket on her shoulders before yawning. Samuel got comfortable next to his bonded, his hand still laced with her's. Neither seemed to minded contact. Samuel glanced at her and blinked. Her chest was rising and falling rapidly but yet she was breathing normally. Suzette gasped softly and put a hand to her chest, her breathing evened out and she leaned her head back, closing her eyes. Samuel watched her in awe as she calmed herself down. Suzette sighed and opened her eyes and leaned against Samuel. "Sorry...." She whispered and closed her eyes. Her cheek rested against his shoulder. Samuel and Suzette sat next to each other for a long while just sitting.

This was perhaps the god's favorite spot in the city. So open and full of fun things to do. Oh, how he loved it. He was a little biased. He did create the place. Ah...the trees, the rides, the smell of cooking corn of the cob...

Well...what do we have here? One of his spectacular children and one of his new citizens. How lovely. The orange clad god strolled down the lane to the pair, swinging his arms happily.

"Well, hello there. I see you are getting along just fine here, " he plopped down, wrapping his arms around the pair, "How are you enjoying my little world?"

Suzette 'mmm'ed and opened her eyes slowly to look at the orange guy. "Orange man.... How do you do," She whispered before shivering as he put his warm arms around her. Suzette looked at Chaos, her eyes tired. "I like it...." Suzette leaned more into Samuel. The crote smiled at his father before waving with his free hand at him. He glanced down at the girl who seemed like she was about to fall asleep on her shoulder. He stroked her gray hair again before looking at Chaos.

Len stretched out her tired limbs before wandering into the Recreational area. There has been some small talk among the crotes according to John that there was a human in Chaos. Rumor has it that her crote took her to this area and Len was curious about the human.

It feels like a eternity since she's seen a human. Or tasted a human. John had her arm and was leading her towards the center of the area. There was lots of fun things around the vampire and some delicious smelling mortal foods around. It must be good, but Len couldn't ponder about that at the moment. Her and John were coming upon Chaos and the human on the bench.

A smile graced her face at the presence of Chaos. What a wonderful man he was. The human.... Is that a human? Human's aren't gray. She appeared young but she had gray hair!! Len blinked, her eyes widening at this new human. John stopped them a few comfortable feet away from the trio on the bench. His darker blue eyes were on Samuel, the other crote and his older brother.

John nodded to his brother before looking at the other's bonded. The human was gray, like the rumor was told. But she was very pretty in the other crote's opinion. She seemed tired and sickly though. The ill deserved to be inside not out and about like this one.

Samuel smiled at his apparently younger brother. He waved at the other with a free hand before looking at his bonded. She was blonde and short. His violet eyes looked back at his own bonded, noticing that she was about to fall asleep again. He looked at Chaos, then tried to get his attention so he would know that they had company.

Chaos beamed underneath his helmet. More people arriving! His little children and their bonded ones. It was oh so nice.

The god carefully peeled himself from the bench, skipping over to Len and wrapping his orange clad arms around the vampire's shoulders, "I do adore that outfit you are wearing. Very pretty," his helmeted head bobbed up and down, "It looks so you."

He dragged the vampire and her bonded crote towards the bench, plopping them all down onto the, now extended, park bench, "Now onto the introductions: Len, this is Suzette. Suzette, this is Len."

Len giggled at Chaos' comment about her fresh picked blue dress that just came out of the closet. "Thank you my lord. It does suit me doesn't it?" She said and followed him to the bench. She sat gracefully next to the gray human, her nose at work to scent out to make sure it was a human that she was sitting next to.

John stood beside Len, keeping a watchful eye on the woman. Back at their home she made him promise her that if she appeared to be ready to drink from someone that was not willing to donate, he should do everything in his ability to stop her.

Len smiled at the Suzette. "Alo, I'm Len. Vampire Empress." She said extending her hand to the gray girl. She wondered what her skin felt like. If it was smooth like it appeared to be, or if it was some sort of scales that she could not see.

Suzette blinked and looked at the blonde girl. Or vampire. [color=gray]"Suzette Kirk. Human.... And this is Samuel." She said patting Sam's leg. Sam blushed lightly at the pat but other wise looked at his brother. He waved at the blonde crote. Suzette looked at Len tiredly. "You look really pretty..." She said before yawning.

"Why thank you." She smiled. Len was slightly taken aback by the human's uncaring that she was sitting next to a vampire. Len stared at the human curiously. "My dear, are you wearing makeup?" She asked, before touching Suzette's hand.

Len pulled away instantly, her eyes wide. Shock showing plainly on her face. Len turned her shocked gaze from Suzette to Chaos, hoping he would have some explanation.

Suzette blinked at the touch from the vampire. "No. It's my skin." She said simply before turning to look at Samuel, who was watching Len carefully.
Suzette sighed and snuggled closer to her crote. "I have a weird body that makes my hair gray, eyes gray, and skin gray.... If I turn white I have to go to the hospital...." She whispered.
