Of Training and Party Plans

Two buildings, one quite larger than the other, squatted just outside Capitol City like a pair of great beasts about to pounce on the City. Birds flitted about on the rooftops, their chirps filling the air.

Daybreak looked up at the massive building and sauntered over to its adjacent, albeit smaller, companion. The Training Center. Chaos had called the Cybertronian here, something about training...he shook his head in wonder.

The police chief entered the building and looked around in amazement. It was bigger on the inside, capable of housing many training fights. The ceiling arched towards the heavens and was paneled in glass, so that the sun warmed the interior of the building. Various equipment lined the walls, everything from wresting mats to barbells.

Daybreak let out a sigh, the great machine walked to the nearest space and stood, waiting for Chaos to appear. The god had also wanted to tell him something...really important.

A poof of orange smoke heralded the arrival of the deity...

Chaos was in the best of moods today. Why? There was a party to be had! The god had a reason to be unusually chipper...not really, but he was.

He poofed down to the Training Center, his glorious Police chief already waiting. Wonderful. Chaos clapped his hands together in glee, taking massive steps towards the Cybertronian. Growing to the giant's height, the god wrapped his orange-clad arms around the mech's shoulder plates.

My dear Daybreak, you must be wondering why I summoned you here. Well, my dear Chief of Police just can not go out into the world without knowing how to fight. Nononono...don't make that face, fighting here is quite different than what you are used to back home," Chaos gestured wildly with his hands, the orange on his mask glowing bright, "For training purposes, I will lower my health, stamina, and shields...just for you. Now, come at me."

The room was silent save for the sound of metal scrapping against metal as Daybreak unsheathed his swords. He shrugged, knowing full well not to argue with the god. His bright blue optics flicked around Chaos, looking for the best place to attack. The Cybertronian kept the blades lowered, his body posture completely relaxed. He shifted ever so slightly to the left, the god's mask turning to watch him.

But his processor was whirling. Chaos had gone completely and utterly bonkers. Daybreak, of course, did not want to hurt the god...nor did he want the god to hurt him.

"Was there not another item of business you wanted to discuss?" Daybreak asked casually before lunging forward. He swept his left blade down towards Chaos' shoulder while sweeping his right blade down towards the god's stomach.

Chaos laughed, nimbly dodging both of the Cybertronian's attacks. The left blade crashing into the floor, biting through the practice mat and burying itself in the cement floor. The right blade passed harmlessly through the god as the flesh between his upper and lower bodies became unsubstantial.

"Is that all you have got, Daybreak? I thought you, of all people, could do better than that," the god drew out his own weapon, a black and orange pole-ax, and brandished it before the cop.

The god circled the Cybertronian a few times, looking for his one opening. He planted both black shoed feet on the mat, his body twisting in preparation. Chaos then swung the weapon, arcing it towards Daybreak's midsection, gripping the metal shaft with both hands.

The pole-ax whistled harmlessly past where Daybreak had been standing moments earlier. He touched back down behind Chaos, his blades held at the ready.

"And I thought the almighty Chaos could do better as well," Daybreak laughed, his massive feet squishing the mat. His bright blue optics swept over the god, his body tensing.

With a massive, "AWWWWWwwwww", Daybreak launched himself towards Chaos, his blades sweeping towards the god. He swung his left hand blade towards Chaos' head, aiming for the god's central orange 'eye'. Then he swung his right blade towards Chaos' legs, aiming to hit his orange suited legs.

The Cybertronian bared his teeth, his blue optics flashing. He was having the time of his life!

"Well, I'll just have to try harder, won't I?" the chaotic god would have smirked if anyone would have been able to see it.

He dodged the attacks effortlessly, feeling his whole being sing with the pure joy of this fight. He raised his pole-ax, swiftly transmuting it into a massive black and orange hammer. The god twirled it, testing its weight.

"I'm gonna' amp it up a bit, my dear."

Oh, dear Daybreak. You should be awfully afraid right now. Really, really, really afraid. Chaos swung the hammer over his head, raised up onto the very tips of his shiny black shoes, and with a great WHOOSH! brought the hammer down.

Daybreak flew back from the shockwave, landing heavily on his back. His wings scraped against the floor, making the flier wince in pain. But his armor plating held fast. He sheathed his own swords, instead drawing out his blaster.

Chaos danced, most proud of actually hitting the Cybertronian this time around. Well, he just got lucky. Daybreak raised the blaster and fired off a few rounds at the god of chaos.
